Casey Lober: Counselor & Admissions

Ms. Lober discovered her passion for helping kids succeed in school while she worked as a school resource officer in the Rockwood School District. She was employed as a police officer for the St. Louis County Police Department for seven years before she became a school counselor for Lewis & Clark in 2008.  In her position, Ms. Lober leads the admissions process for prospective students and is the main liaison between Lewis & Clark students and their “home” school counselor.  Ms. Lober is a proud graduate of Fort Zumwalt North and earned a Bachelor of Science in Justice Systems from Truman State University.  She also earned a master’s degree in school counseling at Lindenwood.

When not at Lewis & Clark, Ms. Lober spends much of her spare time with her two children at their sporting events.  She also plays club soccer and enjoys reading, cooking, and the outdoors.  In addition, Ms. Lober volunteers for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.

“My favorite part of working with students at Lewis & Clark is seeing how this school makes such a difference in their lives.  It is really fun to hear stories of success from our graduates when they come back to visit.”

Carla Johnson: Skills Center Coordinator

Mrs. Johnson loves her “dream job” as a skills center coordinator for students at Lewis & Clark.  She works with a wide variety of students to ensure their reading and math performance is on par with the expectations of their respective programs. A graduate of Fort Zumwalt South, Mrs. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Lindenwood and a Master of Science in education from Missouri Baptist University.  She is certified as a high school English teacher, a library media specialist, as well as a special education teacher.  Prior to joining Lewis & Clark in 2010, Mrs. Johnson taught English at Timberland High School in Wentzville.

Mrs. Johnson is married and has two children.  As a family, they love to camp on weekends where Mrs. Johnson water skis whenever possible. When not camping or spending time with her family, Mrs. Johnson enjoys making crafts from Pinterest and trying new recipes.

“I love getting to know my students and meeting them right where they are in their learning.  Watching them take their next steps as they master new content is so rewarding.  Teaching at Lewis & Clark is such a blessing in my life.  I am exactly where I’m meant to be.”
