The SCSD Board of Education put Proposition SCSD on the April 8, 2025 ballot. Proposition SCSD is a no-tax-rate increase bond issue that would provide $90 million to improve and maintain our school facilities without raising the current property tax rate.

The Parents as Teachers program is designed for families with children prenatal through five years of age. Services include developmental screenings, home visits and group connections events for all families. These services are free to district residents.

The City of St. Charles School District is developing its Portrait of a Graduate, a shared vision that defines the skills, knowledge and personal qualities every SCSD student should have by the time they graduate. This work goes beyond grades and test scores to focus on what students need to succeed after high school—whether their path includes college, career training, the military or the workforce.

MCCTA named Lewis Clark Career Center Director Martin Hanley its 2025-2026 Administrator of the Year.

A hearing will be held at 5:45pm, September 11, 2025 at 400 North Sixth Street, St. Charles, Missouri, at which time citizens may be heard on the property tax rates proposed to be set by the St. Charles R-VI School District. The tax rates are set to produce the revenue required by the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025.
